Grappa: Types, Characteristics, and Prices
Tradition and Excellence
Grappa, the quintessential Italian pomace brandy, is a product of excellence crafted from native and renowned grapes of Italy. Known for its intense aromas and multifaceted fragrances, this spirit is the result of a tradition passed down for five generations. We proudly offer a selection of premium grappas in various types to suit all tastes.
Types of Grappa
Grappas are primarily distinguished by their region of origin—featuring regional grappas made from specific geographically designated vineyards—and by their aging and refinement processes. They are characterized by their color, ranging from white to golden amber, and by their distinctive fragrances and flavors.
Single-Varietal Grappas
The finest single-varietal grappas preserve the organoleptic purity of the pomace used, resulting in internationally acclaimed labels. Notable examples include Nebbiolo, Barbera, Corvina, Recioto, and Sangiovese.
Premium White Grappas
